Forward Deployment Engineer, Security Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive implementation and deployment of Simbian’s platform for enterprise clients and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).

• Integrate Simbian with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) tools, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and cloud services.

• Take ownership of the technical onboarding, configuration, and go-live procedures.

• Design and execute integrations through APIs, webhooks, and connectors.

• Act as the main technical contact after the sales process.

• Resolve complex integration, deployment, and workflow challenges.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and OEM partners to address implementation obstacles.

• Promote product adoption and ensure value realization following deployment.

• Offer technical expertise during the sales cycle.

• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.

• Assist with Proof of Value initiatives.

• Align customer security frameworks with Simbian’s integration capabilities.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.

• Communicate customer feedback, integration issues, and feature requests.

• Keep up-to-date with cybersecurity trends, OEM ecosystems, and product advancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Implementation, or related roles within the cybersecurity sector.

• Significant hands-on experience in implementations and integrations (beyond just demos or pre-sales).

• Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity OEM products and ecosystems.

• Strong understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows and security technologies (SIEM, EDR, XDR, SOAR, IAM, etc.).

• Practical experience with APIs, REST integrations, webhooks, and automation workflows.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in complex enterprise settings.
