Senior Release Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist with Enterprise Bundled Releases (EBR) and OFF-EBR releases by managing deployments and carrying out deployment tasks.

• Aid in release planning, preparation for deployment, and execution of release activities.

• Implement and oversee application deployments across both Non-Production and Production environments.

• Develop and maintain deployment runbooks, implementation plans, and release documentation.

• Facilitate rollback procedures and conduct post-release validation activities.

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub.

• Monitor release activities, identify issues, manage risks, and track dependencies using Jira and CRR processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during essential release periods.

• Support enterprise-level releases and uphold essential deployment infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or Deployment Management.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools and deployment tasks, particularly with Jenkins, GitHub, and Bitbucket.

• Familiarity with both Production and Non-Production release support.

• Proficient in YAML Pipelines, Terraform, and Shell/PowerShell scripting.

• Strong understanding of AWS deployment principles.

• Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Proactive in identifying and escalating issues.

• Demonstrates resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery methodologies.

• Profound understanding of the distinctions between coding and engineering.

• Upper Intermediate proficiency in Oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.

• Programming experience in Python.

• Knowledge of cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
