Forward Deployed Solution Engineer – Applied AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with customers to identify challenges and define impactful AI use cases.

• Design and develop comprehensive GenAI/ML systems, incorporating RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, evaluations, and safeguards.

• Deploy AI systems into production environments.

• Rapidly prototype, iterate with actual users, and refine pilot projects into dependable, monitored services.

• Manage the technical relationship, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams.

• Construct backend services, LLM pipelines, and front-end integrations.

• Deliver solution-ready builds in agile sprints.

• Create libraries, prompts, and scaffolds that facilitate multiple deployments and projects.

• Influence the development of internal tools and establish the foundational roadmap for the platform.

• Lead projects from inception to completion.

• Enhance the depth of machine learning and engineering standards across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience in customer-facing or embedded roles developing systems.

• Proficient in building machine learning/GenAI systems utilizing LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.

• Capable of designing and implementing AI-native software in production settings.

• Backend development experience with Python, Node.js, or Java.

• Frontend development experience with React or Angular.

• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Familiarity with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, prompt chaining, vector search, and context management.

• Skilled in debugging distributed systems, optimizing latency, and establishing monitoring systems.

• Ability to contribute to shared SDKs and tools.

• A product-oriented mindset focused on user value, MVP iteration, and scalability.

• Experience with deployments in AWS, Azure, or GCP using CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% to engage onsite and address critical needs.

• Proven experience in integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.

• Preferred: experience incorporating AI into SaaS platforms like ServiceNow or Salesforce.

• Preferred: a history of production deployments within secure, regulated enterprise environments.

• Preferred: contributions to developer experience tools, frameworks, or reusable AI scaffolding.
