Forward Deployed Engineer – Growth Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of complex customer challenges from start to finish, guiding unique, unprecedented problems from prototype through to stable production across various deployments.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operationalize AI-driven workflows to address customer issues.

• Implement controls for human oversight, exception handling, and governance within regulated environments.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor for customer regulatory, operations, and IT teams.

• Lead executive discussions, conduct technical workshops, and facilitate solution evaluations.

• Assist customers in achieving measurable business results and ensuring long-term adoption.

• Transform recurring customer issues and real-world results into evaluation criteria, patterns, and priorities for Product and Engineering teams.

• Share insights from customer discoveries, patterns, methods, and field experiences within the collective knowledge base.

• Provide mentorship to peers and contribute to the establishment of institutional knowledge.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, customer representatives, and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in delivering software solutions to enterprise clients.

• Familiarity with reporting and analytics technologies, as well as financial, sustainability, governance, risk, compliance, or related sectors.

• Proven experience in configuring, customizing, and delivering software solutions in client environments, managing complex implementations from requirements gathering to deployment and adoption.

• Ability to engage credibly with technical and business stakeholders, including regulatory teams, IT, and executive sponsors.

• Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar ecosystems, along with common integration patterns.

• Experience collaborating with external implementation partners, advisory firms, systems integrators, or audit firms.

• Understanding of prompt engineering, agent-based architectures, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluation frameworks, and AI application lifecycle management.

• Access to reliable internet for remote work at any time, outside of a Workiva office.

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
