Forward Deployed Engineer, Experienced

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Foster robust relationships with client teams.

• Conduct interviews and lead workshops.

• Present recommendations for solutions.

• Implement, configure, and tailor Palantir Foundry/AIP utilizing Python and TypeScript.

• Grasp the intersection of business and technical challenges.

• Analyze root causes and devise innovative technical solutions.

• Provide training for end users on Palantir tools.

• Create documentation to enhance client success.

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, deliverables, and internal collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP.

• Enthusiastic about engaging directly with clients both on-site and remotely.

• Capacity to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to client needs and preferences.

• Solid understanding of data engineering principles.

• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with data manipulation tools (Pandas, Polars) or distributed computing frameworks (Spark).

• Experience with complex enterprise data.

• Ability to adapt and thrive in ambiguous situations while handling mission-critical projects.

• Appreciate collaboration, creativity, and ongoing learning.

• Willingness to travel within Canada and the US (approximately 5% travel) without requiring visas or processing time for documents.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.

• Exceptional candidates based in the US.

• Preferred: experience in delivering production ML and/or LLM-based solutions.

• Preferred: experience in delivering production frontend applications using React.
