Forward Deployed Engineer – Experienced

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with client teams

• Conduct interviews and lead workshops

• Provide recommendations for solutions

• Implement, configure, and customize Palantir Foundry/AIP utilizing Python and TypeScript

• Grasp both business and technical challenges

• Investigate root causes and devise technical solutions

• Educate end users on Palantir tools

• Create documentation to facilitate client success

• Assist in project planning, timelines, and deliverables

• Collaborate internally to ensure successful project delivery

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on, recent experience with Palantir Foundry

• Familiarity with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP

• Enthusiastic about engaging directly with clients both on-site and remotely

• Capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to client needs and preferences

• Comprehensive understanding of data engineering principles

• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript

• Experience with Pandas, Polars, or Spark

• Background in working with intricate enterprise data

• Comfortable with change and ambiguity

• Strong collaboration skills, creativity, and a commitment to continuous learning

• A degree or master's in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline

• Willingness to travel in Canada and the US, approximately 5%, without the need for visas or other documents requiring processing time

• Preferable experience with production ML and/or LLM-based solutions

• Preferable experience with production frontend applications in React
