Forward Deployed Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create solutions addressing genuine customer challenges utilizing the most suitable technology.

• Engage directly with clients in the delivery process.

• Develop applications across front-end, back-end, data pipelines, and AI models.

• Coordinate AI agents like Claude Code and Codex to generate code, perform tests, initiate pull requests, update tickets, and manage tasks across GitHub, Jira, Salesforce, Ashby, and calendars.

• Strike a balance between elegant coding and swift delivery.

• Investigate methods that could enhance software development practices.

• Deliver production software that adheres to SLAs and enhances client metrics.

• Collaborate closely with the company's founders.

• Assist in identifying and recruiting engineers capable of maintaining the necessary pace.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficient coding abilities in various programming languages.

• Insight into how software contributes to business profitability.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguous environments without extensive guidance.

• Deep expertise in a relevant field, such as engineering, business analysis, QA, or design.

• Proficient in terminal usage.

• Regular experience with AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, or their equivalents.

• Eagerness to learn and utilize Git.

• Capability to articulate clear and concise writing and explain reasoning effectively.

• Ability to provide clear direction to AI agents.

• Hands-on experience in full-stack or cross-functional development.

• Willingness to collaborate across engineering, delivery, and client settings.

• Must code and be open to operating across the entire stack.
