Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop workflows and multi-agent systems in Synera that deliver rapid value to clients.

• Recognize promising next use cases in collaboration with customers.

• Conduct regular customer visits, up to 40% of the time.

• Address functionality gaps with scripts, web node automations, and custom add-ins.

• Enhance agent and multi-agent system prompts for improved reliability.

• Maintain close communication with Synera product managers to integrate temporary solutions into the product.

• Align weekly objectives with Customer Success Managers.

• Create workflows for extracting CAD data relevant to costing.

• Facilitate customer workshops and integrate workflows into multi-agent systems using real data.

• Convey user insights to developer teams and product managers.

• Engage in knowledge sharing with FDEs and Solution Engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical expertise in Computational, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.

• Approximately 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing roles.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to demonstrate business value through technical solutions.

• Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools such as OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, or LS-DYNA.

• Experience and/or a strong interest in AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and vibe coding.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Ability to collaborate with clients and articulate complex topics clearly and engagingly.

• Native German speaker or possess professional-level proficiency in German.

• Willingness and ability to travel around 40% for customer visits, workshops, and on-site collaboration.

• Experience with Synera and/or proficiency in C# and Python is advantageous.
