This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +5 more states.
• Transform strategic enterprise implementations into successful production stories by working directly on-site with clients.
• Conduct targeted 5-day deployment sessions with established production workflows.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategists to synchronize technical execution with customer objectives and adoption goals.
• Establish trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and develop workflows, integrations, and custom nodes designed specifically for customer environments.
• Enhance n8n nodes or incorporate missing functionalities for enterprise applications.
• Convert vague business challenges into actionable automation designs.
• Work across various industries and technology platforms.
• Recognize unique requirements that can evolve into reusable node enhancements, product features, or platform capabilities.
• Record technical gaps, customer context, implementation insights, and prioritization indicators for Product and Engineering.
• Contribute workflows, custom nodes, integration methodologies, and reusable insights to internal documentation.
• Provide time-limited engagements with defined outcomes and scalable solutions.
• Assist customers in taking ownership and operating the solutions independently.
• Maintain a balance between implementation speed and simplicity while steering clear of unnecessary complexity.
• Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience.
• Experience in building integrations, APIs, or automation pipelines in a production environment.
• Proficiency in creating custom nodes and extending existing integrations.
• Familiarity with APIs, authentication patterns, data models, and event-driven systems.
• Ability to differentiate between customer workarounds, reusable node enhancements, and product features.
• Comfortable engaging directly in customer environments with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capacity to translate operational challenges into viable technical designs.
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to minimize unnecessary complexity.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–60% of the time for on-site engagements, primarily within Europe.
• Capability to quickly adapt and become effective in new industries, technology stacks, and customer settings.
• Familiarity with n8n or similar workflow automation tools is preferred.
• Experience with enterprise deployments is preferred.
• Development of custom nodes, connectors, plugins, SDKs, or reusable integration frameworks is preferred.
• Experience in forward-deployed or solutions engineering is preferred.
• Experience providing product feedback, contributing to roadmaps, or drafting engineering specifications is preferred.
• For applicants from countries outside of Germany, a valid right to work is required.
• The primary language of the company is English.
