Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to analyze intricate data environments and pinpoint high-friction business processes.

• Create proof-of-concept AI Agents and integrations utilizing APIs, webhooks, and LLMs.

• Design AI Agents that can strategize, make decisions, and take actions within the LumApps ecosystem.

• Develop middleware and custom connectors to integrate LumApps with systems like SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, and others.

• Recognize systemic integration patterns in the field.

• Contribute code to enhance and advance the core platform.

• Transform custom solutions into scalable, repeatable Industry Vertical Packs.

• Work collaboratively with senior leadership, engineering teams, product teams, and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must reside in the Greater Toronto Area.

• Over 6 years of experience in engineering or technical deployment, including customer-facing roles.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Proven excellence in analytical thinking and software development.

• Strong inclination for action and capability to self-prioritize in dynamic, fast-paced settings.

• Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, Java, or Python.

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React and backend API design.

• Enthusiasm for Generative AI, RAG architecture, AI Frameworks, and Agentic workflows.

• Full professional proficiency in English.

• Willingness to travel for regular on-site customer workshops across North America.

• Experience working directly with clients and crafting solutions to meet their needs.

• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies.

• Understanding of enterprise identity frameworks such as OIDC, OAuth 2.0, or SAML.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a plus.
