Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop integrations between the platform and client systems, including ERPs, WMS, TMS, and data warehouses.

• Write code for connecting, extracting, and transforming data across various environments.

• Deploy solutions alongside clients within their environments to comprehend operational workflows and data challenges.

• Design, implement, and refine AI workflows utilizing agentic flows, prompt engineering, context design, and output evaluation.

• Take ownership of the reliability, performance, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement of live deployments.

• Identify potential failure modes and proactively address issues.

• Convert field insights into structured product feedback, technical documentation, and reusable playbooks.

• Collaborate directly with clients and the Implementation team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–4 years of practical engineering experience.

• Proficient in Python, REST APIs, and SQL.

• A portfolio showcasing real integrations or delivered systems.

• Capability to navigate ambiguous client environments and ascertain necessary developments.

• Comprehensive understanding of data flows across systems and ensuring data reliability for AI applications.

• Familiarity with AI and LLMs, including prompt design and output evaluation.

• Ability to effectively communicate technical integrations to VP-level Operations stakeholders and produce technical documentation for engineers.

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.

• Must be located in LATAM or the United States.

• Willingness to work across various time zones.

• Availability to travel to client locations as needed.

• Nice to have: a background in supply chain, logistics, or operations.

• Nice to have: experience with integrating enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, ERPs, and WMS platforms.

• Nice to have: previous experience in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.
