Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deploy directly into customer environments, either remotely or on-site, serving as the primary technical partner from the discovery phase through to delivery.

• Manage customer relationships from the initial discovery stage through to the final delivery.

• Act as a hands-on escalation point for complex technical challenges during the delivery process.

• Create impactful proofs of concept and functional prototypes.

• Design and implement migration, modernization, and DevOps solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities for expansion and new engagements within existing accounts.

• Lead the technical sales process and successfully close engagements.

• Develop level-of-effort estimates and scope-of-work documentation.

• Facilitate technical discussions, ascertain project needs, and present solutions during customer calls.

• Conduct assessments as part of the Migration Acceleration Program.

• Lead workshops to evaluate cloud migration readiness.

• Mentor team members on AWS solutions, migration strategies, and industry best practices.

• Keep up-to-date with AWS offerings, DevOps tools, and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and convert business requirements into solutions that result in successful closures.

• Proven history of executing successful AWS migration and modernization projects from start to finish.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, and CircleCI.

• Practical experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

• Strong capability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in real-time while engaging with customers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• AWS Professional and specialty certifications are highly preferred.

• Previous experience in a forward-deployed solutions engineering, pre-sales, or cloud consulting role with a commercial aspect is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Data, Machine Learning, or AI technologies is highly preferred.

• A track record of growing accounts or driving revenue as a technical contributor is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of advanced AWS services or emerging technologies is highly preferred.
