Forward Deployed AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, and operationalize agentic AI workflows, assistants, and automations within client ServiceNow and enterprise environments.

• Translate customer requirements and business processes into technical architectures, implementation strategies, and production-ready AI solutions.

• Develop enterprise AI applications utilizing Claude, the Anthropic API, and additional LLM platforms.

• Implement prompt/context engineering, structured outputs, tool utilization, API integrations, orchestration, human-in-the-loop patterns, and RAG solutions.

• Create prototypes, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, reusable implementation patterns, prompt libraries, integrations, and deployment assets.

• Establish secure integrations between ServiceNow, enterprise systems, APIs, data platforms, and AI services.

• Assess AI quality, reliability, safety, latency, cost, and user experience; implement responsible AI safeguards.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance deployed AI workflows and integrations.

• Contribute to NewRocket’s Intelligence Platform, Value Realization Dashboard, Data Intelligence Platform, Agent Packs, and AI accelerators.

• Collaborate with consultants, product engineers, data engineers, AI/ML engineers, ServiceNow teams, customers, and the AI Center of Excellence.

• Assist in workshops, discovery sessions, demonstrations, pilots, production rollouts, documentation, and delivery playbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, enterprise platforms, workflow automation, or similar technical delivery roles.

• Practical experience in full-stack development, scripting, APIs, microservices, enterprise integrations, or cloud-native applications.

• Experience in building, deploying, or supporting AI/LLM-powered applications, AI-enabled automations, conversational experiences, RAG systems, or agentic workflows.

• Experience integrating APIs, enterprise applications, data platforms, or workflow systems in production settings.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or comparable programming and scripting languages.

• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, context windows, token usage, embeddings, vector search, RAG, tool use/function calling, structured outputs, and model evaluation.

• Understanding of responsible AI concepts, sensitive data management, identity and access controls, human oversight, AI safety, and secure AI deployment.

• Experience in customer-facing engineering, consulting, technical implementation, solutions architecture, or professional services roles.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, travel approximately 25%, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Anthropic API, Claude models, Anthropic Console, Claude Code, MCP, ServiceNow, vector databases, embeddings, Docker, CI/CD, SQL, Git, infrastructure-as-code, and secure cloud deployment.
