Fortellis Integration Consultant, BPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement the initial delivery of CDK software, applications, and business process consulting and training, both on-site and remotely.

• Offer technical consulting services to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and guide vendors through the API integration certification process.

• Manage multiple vendors at different certification stages concurrently.

• Collaborate with Account Management teams to provide updates on client progress and create sales opportunities for consulting and other CDK products.

• Work alongside Data & Fortellis Sales Engineers to deliver technical integration assessments for third-party vendor applications.

• Provide technical assistance to the Data & Fortellis R&D team and certify Data & Fortellis products prior to their release for ISV usage.

• Resolve product development and production support application integration challenges.

• Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for production support issues raised by Data & Fortellis Support.

• Organize and manage customer simulation testing of DMS applications and API modifications with integrating ISVs.

• Gain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of integrated CDK applications.

• Contribute to ongoing organizational process improvements, including the documentation of standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in working with software requirements, diagnosing software issues, and testing software to ensure compliance with requirements.

• At least 5 years of experience in working with and/or supporting CDK applications such as CRM, F&I, Accounting, Parts, and Service.

• Proficient in working with ENGLISH query language and DMS operating systems.

• Preferred experience within the automotive sector and automotive dealership management.

• Capability to engage with client staff at all organizational levels.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills are essential.

• Strong communication skills are required for this customer-facing role.

• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Understanding of business environments and related processes, with the ability to convey this to a technical audience.

• Capacity to effectively manage the expectations of customers, Product/Program/Project Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Ability to work remotely with clients.

• Willingness to travel for internal meetings when necessary.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
