Formulary Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Oversee and maintain formulary settings within TruDataRx’s unique system, ensuring compliance with P&T decisions, specific account needs, and industry regulations while utilizing MediSpan and NDC standards.

• Track and execute formulary modifications, including tier assignments, exclusions, and utilization management parameters as instructed by the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and Account Management.

• Recognize and resolve system or configuration challenges, escalating as necessary.

• Actively engage in initiatives aimed at optimizing systems and enhancing processes.

• Assist with routine quality control assessments to guarantee formulary precision and data integrity.

• Compile and refresh Prescription Drug Lists and various reports for internal teams and client outputs.

• Act as a resource for internal teams regarding formulary-related inquiries.

• Work in conjunction with the P&T Committee, Account Management, and IT to troubleshoot and enhance system inefficiencies.

• Ascertain whether formulary challenges originate from configuration or system functionality and propose solutions to address them.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in formulary operations for a pharmacy benefit manager or a related field.

• Strong understanding of GPI identifiers and familiarity with MediSpan and NDC-derived data.

• Expertise in pharmaceutical classifications, drug data, and formulary logic.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and formulary setup.

• Proven ability to identify and resolve system and process inefficiencies with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Outstanding organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Capability to achieve results using resources that are not directly under your control.

• Openness to acknowledge gaps in knowledge and seek assistance when needed.
