📋 Description

• Assist in gathering evidence for civil cases related to road traffic accidents.

• Aid in the collection of witness testimonies.

• Offer expert assessments of road traffic incidents for internal evaluation concerning liability matters in civil claims.

• Analyze collected evidence and provide guidance on the accuracy and adequacy of third-party evidence, including police investigations of collisions.

• Collaborate with police, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), and coroners.

• Conduct site inspections of accident scenes.

• Work collaboratively with case handlers at various levels and provide support to colleagues.

• Engage with witnesses, police, emergency services, coroners, recovery agents, the general public, and insurance clients.

• Investigate high-value personal injury claims stemming from road traffic accidents.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret evidence from collisions, offering expert insights into liability concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Collision Investigator, preferably with a UK police force, having handled a diverse array of road traffic collisions.

• Relevant professional certifications are advantageous, particularly at least the UCPD in Forensic Road Collision Investigation or the City and Guilds Certificate in Police Forensic Collision Investigation.

• Familiarity with civil proceedings and their relation to police investigations and criminal cases.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Empathy and compassion to assist clients in navigating difficult personal situations.

• A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
