
Foreclosure Litigation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee a portfolio of litigated and contested foreclosure cases.
• Draft, review, and submit legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and affidavits under the guidance of an attorney.
• Track and monitor deadlines set by the court.
• Prepare case files, compile supporting documentation, and assist in trial preparation or hearings.
• Coordinate both electronic and physical court submissions.
• Communicate with clients to provide status updates, address inquiries, and manage escalations.
• Collaborate with Managers, Supervisors, Specialists, and attorneys to facilitate workflow and case advancement.
• Ensure adherence to court regulations, client standards, and legal requirements.
• Produce case status reports and additional documentation for attorneys and management.
• Identify areas for workflow enhancement and propose process improvements.
• Support the training of new team members.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in foreclosure litigation, contested matters, or a similar legal domain.
• Strong knowledge of foreclosure litigation processes and legal terminology.
• Familiarity with court rules and procedures across various jurisdictions.
• Understanding of state-specific foreclosure regulations and requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and precision.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and case management software.
• Ability to accurately draft and file legal documents in a timely manner.
• Capacity to manage multiple contested cases concurrently while meeting critical deadlines.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information discreetly.
• Ability to work autonomously while closely collaborating with attorneys and team members.
• Skill in identifying issues and escalating them to attorneys or management when necessary.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk typing, using, and viewing a computer.
