Food & Ingredient Analyst – Contract, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with food and ingredient data, discerning the unique characteristics of each ingredient and their interrelations.

• Utilize AI tools to define each ingredient's identity, functional roles, synonyms, and scientifically validated descriptive information.

• Maintain data integrity and consistency; identify and rectify errors.

• Manage review requests from a queue, providing resolutions or escalating issues as necessary.

• Undertake a brief hands-on skills assessment as part of the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in nutrition or food science: AA, bachelor's, advanced degree, or relevant technical training.

• Strong comprehension of ingredients and their chemical properties.

• Capability to analyze and understand ingredient behavior.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

• Proficient in interpreting Nutrition Facts panels and ingredient lists.

• Comfortable working with numbers and performing data entry tasks.

• Keen ability to identify errors.

• Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment.
