Fluid Power Specialist – Development Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Enhance your expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic components, systems, and troubleshooting through structured training and hands-on problem-solving under supervision.

• Establish a rapport with customers by serving as a technical consultant and trusted advisor during supervised observational visits.

• Contribute to the Fluid Power collaborative knowledge base, encompassing applications, interchanges, documented case histories, value-added activities, market insights, and competitor analysis.

• Aid in the continuous improvement of the developmental program to enhance its overall effectiveness.

• Acquire knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic solutions, system troubleshooting, and fundamental customer management skills.

• Shadow experienced Specialists, providing answers to technical inquiries and resolving real-world challenges.

• Collaborate with Account Managers as a local technical resource, supporting both existing and prospective customers while driving business growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A 2-year technical degree and/or experience with technical products while pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree.

• General mechanical aptitude.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in English grammar.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Capability to convey technical ideas and solutions to various audiences.

• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency, a proactive approach, and the ability to execute tasks remotely.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Willingness to relocate for the Fluid Power Specialist position after completing the Development Program.

• Internship or relevant customer-facing work experience is preferred.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and system schematics is preferred.

• Familiarity with MS Office and remote collaboration tools is preferred.
