
Fleet Client Services – Billing Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Support the billing process across all markets in the designated area.
• Oversee follow-up maintenance transactions from initiation until the customer's unit is under the control of the repair technician.
• Accurately document and record each customer interaction in the Cox Fleet systems in a timely manner.
• Provide customer service for both internal and external inquiries.
• Build and maintain a positive rapport with customers.
• Secure customer authorization for repairs and services.
• Reach out to customers proactively to arrange preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with Field Operations to assign the appropriate technicians to respective accounts.
• Encourage customers to plan repairs and maintenance in advance.
• Enhance and refine company capabilities in dispatching and service scheduling.
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Alternative qualification: any degree/certification beyond a High School diploma/GED in a related area with up to 1 year of experience.
• Alternative qualification: 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and foster positive relationships.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage diverse tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Excel and skilled in data entry.
• Ability to learn FSCA IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, and RO Writer.
• General knowledge of the trucking industry.
• Experience in fleet maintenance or automotive/trucking transportation is advantageous.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with outstanding follow-through skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship available now or in the future.
• Minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off each month.
