This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
β’ Act as the primary contact for established big and elite advisor plan clients along with their financial advisors.
β’ Oversee relationships for plan accounts and financial advisors to guarantee effective service experiences, product improvements, and plan retention.
β’ Offer consultative support and guidance as a dedicated point of contact.
β’ Enhance plan retention through ownership, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
β’ Safeguard, secure, and appropriately manage confidential Ascensus and client information.
β’ Exhibit a proactive client-centered approach, teamwork, and alignment with organizational values.
β’ Utilize industry expertise to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and organic growth.
β’ Build robust relationships with daily client contacts and C-level executives.
β’ Take charge of resolving issues raised by clients and financial professionals.
β’ Represent clients internally by collaborating with various Ascensus departments.
β’ Evaluate the portfolio of business to identify retention opportunities and devise strategies for non-elite advisors.
β’ Formulate education and communication strategies for assigned accounts.
β’ Identify cross-sell revenue opportunities and inform financial professionals and plan sponsors about products, processes, and services.
β’ Aggregate data, monitor communications and escalations, and propose solutions to improve the Ascensus experience.
β’ Lead or engage in projects that deliver additional value to existing relationships.
β’ Analyze client and financial professional data and perform outreach, including call campaigns.
β’ Maintain expertise with partner and proprietary Ascensus products.
β’ Stay proficient in regulatory, financial, accounting, service, operations, and compliance aspects of relationship management.
β’ Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
β’ Preferred minimum of 7 years of experience in the retirement services industry or a related field.
β’ At least 5 years of prior experience with direct client/client equivalent relationships in a financial services administrative setting.
β’ Certification or progress towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) in industry-related studies is preferred.
β’ Capability to work independently while also contributing to a highly cooperative team environment.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Ability to function with a significant degree of independence.
β’ Attention to detail and competence in producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.
β’ Ability to make informed business decisions while balancing client needs with organizational considerations.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in group presentations.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
β’ Ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings attended by senior-level personnel.
β’ Proven project management skills.
β’ Willingness to travel as necessary.
