This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate borderline and flagged literature records to determine their relevance to Columbia River fish mitigation topics.
• Validate or amend subject classifications and screening conclusions.
• Provide guidance to the team on terminology, species, life stages, and research methodologies.
• Conduct spot-checks on screened records and final packages to ensure scientific accuracy.
• Participate in regular check-ins with the Program Manager and team.
• Assist the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, with its Columbia River Fish Mitigation literature compilation project.
• Background in USACE, NOAA Fisheries, BPA, tribal, or state fisheries programs within the Columbia River Basin.
• Understanding of ESA-listed salmonids, juvenile and adult fish passage, and hydropower operations.
• Proven experience in conducting literature reviews or systematic reviews.
• Proficiency in Zotero or similar reference management software.
• Availability for occasional check-ins during Pacific business hours.
• In-depth knowledge of the Columbia River system.
