Finnish Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Engage with advanced language models regarding topics in the Finnish language.

• Record instances of model failures to enhance model reasoning capabilities.

• Interact with models in various language scenarios.

• Assess the accuracy of facts and the soundness of logical reasoning.

• Document reproducible error traces.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in the creation of high-quality training data for next-generation AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the Finnish language, covering grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics.

• Proficient in analyzing verb conjugation, case inflection, vowel harmony, sentence structure, as well as formal and informal language, regional dialects, and the Finnish writing system.

• Capability to engage in conversations with language models on various language scenarios.

• Skill in verifying factual accuracy and logical coherence.

• Ability to document reproducible error traces.

• Proficiency in recommending improvements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to demonstrate analytical processes.

• A master's or PhD in Finnish language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Evidence of fit includes peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or involvement in linguistic analysis projects.
