Financial Systems Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish design patterns, standards, and principles for the Firm's Financial and Administrative Applications portfolio.

• Act as the primary architectural resource for financial platforms, including Elite 3E and related applications.

• Collaborate with business leaders to comprehend current and future business requirements.

• Assess opportunities for application modernization, process automation, and cloud adoption.

• Provide support for platform upgrades and transformation initiatives.

• Create and maintain technology roadmaps for financial and administrative applications.

• Set standards and best practices for integrations within financial systems.

• Develop reusable integration patterns utilizing APIs, middleware, ETL processes, and cloud services.

• Evaluate and authorize integration designs for both internal systems and vendor-supported systems.

• Work alongside engineering and Enterprise Architecture teams to enforce architectural standards.

• Ensure that solution designs adhere to data governance, security, reliability, and scalability requirements.

• Establish standards for reporting, analytics, business intelligence, Microsoft Fabric, and AI access to financial data.

• Review data models, reporting platforms, and reporting architecture.

• Direct strategies for Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, data warehousing, and reporting.

• Assess proposed solutions, projects, vendor products, and enhancements to systems.

• Mentor development and support teams on standards, patterns, and best practices.

• Provide technical leadership during major initiatives, upgrades, and strategic planning processes.

• Evaluate software platforms, vendor solutions, and emerging technologies.

• Engage in vendor selection, product evaluations, and proof-of-concept activities.

• Analyze technical feasibility, risks, scalability, and alignment with strategic goals.

• Develop and maintain solution documentation, standards, patterns, reference designs, architecture diagrams, and application inventories.

• Advocate for consistent design practices across projects and operational initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in supporting enterprise applications, integrations, or solution architecture.

• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale application and integration solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of financial business processes, billing, accounting, procurement, and administrative workflows.

• Strong understanding of API architecture, REST services, SOAP services, ETL processes, and integration technologies.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, data modeling, reporting architecture, and analytics platforms.

• Familiarity with cloud architecture, SaaS platforms, and strategies for enterprise modernization.

• Preferred experience supporting financial, accounting, administrative, or legal technology platforms.

• Preferred background in legal, professional services, or financial services organizations.

• Preferred experience with Elite 3E and associated financial application ecosystems.

• Preferred familiarity with Intapp products and related business processes.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
