Financial Systems Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Analyze current and future processes to identify opportunities for enhancing and optimizing workflows.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to collect, document, and refine business requirements.

• Assist in ERP configuration, implementation initiatives, and integration discussions.

• Create and execute SIT/UAT testing scenarios, monitor issues, and aid in their resolution.

• Help with data migration tasks, including mapping and validation processes.

• Facilitate user readiness through training and change management activities.

• Serve as a key liaison among end users, project teams, and external partners.

• Aid Finance in transitioning to a modern ERP platform and ensuring a successful system rollout.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, ideally within Finance or ERP projects.

• Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting) and procurement/purchasing workflows.

• Practical experience in supporting ERP implementations, documenting business requirements (BRDs, user stories), process mapping, and testing/UAT.

• Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience collaborating with vendors and supporting transformation initiatives.

• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

• Proven capability to partner with Finance teams, evaluate processes, and provide practical system or workflow enhancements.
