Financial Settlement Representative – LTL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Audit and authorize payments to carriers.

• Assess carrier-submitted documents for precision and adherence to payable policies.

• Examine carrier bills and documents while resolving any discrepancies.

• Manage a high volume of carrier emails in a dynamic environment.

• Identify billing issues and determine effective solutions.

• Conduct thorough reviews of carriers’ aging reports.

• Work in conjunction with the financial settlement team to improve Days Sales Outstanding and Days Payable Outstanding metrics.

• Foster financial interactions between Shipper Sales and Carrier Procurement teams.

• Address exceptions, oversee document workflows, and implement enhancements to processes.

• Ensure accurate and efficient settlement of financial transactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in financial operations and accounts payable.

• Practical experience with TMS and auditing provider systems.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel.

• Strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Comfortable with routine manual data entry and system updates.

• Ability to interpret and evaluate contracts and carrier terms.

• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills across teams.

• Experience with LTL is a plus.
