Financial Project Analyst – Managed Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Engage in contract negotiations and effectively oversee the financial aspects of active contracts.

• Assess and provide crucial insights into financial strategies for payer proposals in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Assist in ongoing negotiations.

• Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Examine initiatives outlined in business plans and finance initiatives, including modeling.

• Aid in contract evaluation, modeling, and interpretation.

• Organize and prepare projects to achieve strategic and budgetary objectives.

• Contribute to the development of the financial sections of annual and long-term forecasts, bond filings, and materials for rating agencies.

• Support managed care issues involving managed care organizations, the state Hospital Association, and other healthcare providers.

• Foster and strengthen relationships with managed care organizations.

• Carry out other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Five (5) years of financial analysis experience, which includes two (2) years of direct experience in Managed Care.

• A Master’s degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in healthcare may be considered as an equivalent substitute for the education and experience requirements.

• Fundamental computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and data entry.

• Preferred proficiency with EPIC, Experian, and/or other contract management, contract modeling, and electronic health record systems.
