Financial Production Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage accounting operations at designated facilities.

• Facilitate facility closure processes while ensuring prompt and policy-compliant financial reporting.

• Generate periodic financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.

• Conduct analyses and prepare journal entries for prepaids, accruals, payroll, inventory, and other relevant areas.

• Carry out monthly account reconciliations.

• Create budgets and forecasts while monitoring any deviations.

• Lead the development of quarterly forecasts for the assigned locations.

• Evaluate actual results against forecasts and prepare variance analyses.

• Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities, and propose actionable recommendations.

• Collaborate with operations to analyze production metrics.

• Prepare and present ad hoc cost analyses and reports.

• Reconcile ERP inventory balances with physical counts.

• Analyze and report on slow-moving and obsolete inventory reserves.

• Provide cost data for make-or-buy decisions, pricing updates, and profitability assessments.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.

• A minimum of five years of relevant experience is necessary.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn new technologies.

• Experience with (Infor) Visual ERP is advantageous.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.

• Capability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
