This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Serve as the Financial Business Partner for Cards, Banking, and Insurance.
• Facilitate data-driven decision-making, conduct economic feasibility studies for products and features, and monitor portfolio profitability.
• Oversee the monthly, annual, and long-term budgeting process.
• Establish routine, analytical benchmarks, and continuous reforecasting methodologies.
• Execute Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast evaluations.
• Guide the closing of results for business verticals and compile executive reports for the Board, executive leadership, and senior management.
• Develop, parameterize, and enhance projection models that incorporate card unit economics.
• Collaborate with Credit and Collections to align risk and revenue perspectives within the product P&L.
• Propel automation efforts and investigate AI applications to streamline processes.
• Lead and nurture the direct team, elevating the technical standards.
• Extensive experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance within banks, fintechs, or card issuers/payment companies that originate and manage their own credit portfolios.
• In-depth practical and conceptual understanding of card financial dynamics, including NII, funding costs, interchange, fees, revolving credit, credit risk/provisioning (PDD), and cohort/vintage analysis.
• Proficiency in building accurate and robust financial models using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities and capacity to communicate with technical authority.
• Relevant experience with AI and automation aimed at enhancing efficiency (preferred).
• Familiarity with Python or SQL (preferred).
