This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Collaborate with financial advisors to establish and expand integrated planning practices.
• Offer consultation and support regarding financial planning, sales processes, products, and their implementation.
• Identify and cultivate best practices, tools, training, and resources for financial planning services.
• Lead initiatives that enhance centralized service models and promote the adoption of planning and investment philosophies.
• Assist in refining workflows, developing teams, and managing change.
• Consult with advisors on financial planning, product suitability, and investment concepts.
• Analyze clients' financial objectives, current situations, and portfolios.
• Document case notes and the rationale behind recommendations.
• Create recommendation options that align with client needs, risk profiles, time horizons, and preferences.
• Coach representatives on how to present financial plans and investment cases, including managing client objections.
• Design, plan, coordinate, and deliver training and education on program administration, financial planning, investments, technology, and workflows.
• Analyze workflows and business opportunities to identify implementation challenges and delineate centralized planning services.
• Enhance the retention and productivity of financial representatives and field offices.
• Work collaboratively across functions to meet organizational objectives.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• FINRA Series 7 is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services, including both brokerage and advisory investment platforms.
• Proven investment knowledge and comprehension of markets, products, platforms, and services.
• Capability to evaluate client financial situations and analyze portfolios to create and implement comprehensive plans aligned with client objectives.
• Confidence in advising representatives on proactive strategies and solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and accuracy skills.
• Strong consultation, organizational, and communication abilities.
• High level of self-motivation, initiative, and leadership.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Financial Planning designations are preferred; CLU, ChFC, RICP, CFP are desirable.
• Registered Representative classification requiring fingerprinting.
• SIE - FINRA certification.
• Ability to review financial statements, tax returns, and complex legal documents; calculate financial values and ratios; and interpret complex financial concepts and Northwestern Mutual products.
