This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and enhance Stedi's financial model, encompassing revenue, expenses, headcount, cash flow, and long-term forecasting.
• Create metrics, models, and a reporting framework for reliable, consistent, and traceable analysis of business performance.
• Manage the annual planning and continuous forecasting processes.
• Generate reports and analyses that clarify performance relative to plans and identify revenue growth drivers, gross margin, operating expenses, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team on monthly outcomes, accounting considerations, actuals versus projections, management reporting, forecasts, and models.
• Develop models that analyze customer and product economics, pricing strategies, gross margins, infrastructure costs, investment choices, and long-term growth scenarios.
• Oversee company-wide headcount and expenditure planning.
• Create and maintain cash and runway forecasts across various operational scenarios.
• Automate the collection, reporting, and analysis of financial data using modern tools and AI technologies.
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance & Operations and the CEO on significant company decisions, board discussions, and strategic inquiries.
• Report to the Head of Finance & Operations while working closely with the CEO and other leaders within the organization.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar analytical roles, with substantial experience in a high-growth startup environment.
• Outstanding financial modeling capabilities and proficiency in building a model from raw data to a decision-ready output.
• Knowledge of the connection between financial statements and operational metrics.
• Ability to link business mechanics to financial performance, forecasts, and analyses.
• Highly technical for a finance professional, with the ability to automate workflows and directly engage with underlying data.
• Experience employing modern tools and AI to establish dependable financial systems.
• Capability to independently frame ambiguous strategic questions and conduct thorough analyses.
• Proficient in clearly articulating complex financial analyses.
• Skilled in designing scalable processes and systems from the ground up.
• Capable of working with precision, urgency, and accountability.
