Financial Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Supplier Success, Funding/Trading and Payment Operations, Technical/Engineering, Product Development, customers, and partners.

• Engage directly with Suppliers, Buyers, and Finance Partners to address early payment and payment-related concerns.

• Maintain effective internal and external communications while driving the resolution of issues.

• Assist Supplier Success and Sales teams in the smooth onboarding of new Suppliers onto the platform.

• Take responsibility for issues, manage an issue queue, and oversee issues until resolution.

• Execute critical problem-solving to determine the nature and location of issues and devise resolution strategies.

• Connect current issues to historical system or process events.

• Perform root-cause analysis.

• Assess incoming issues and prioritize them appropriately.

• Resourceful and proactive in learning the role.

• Degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field is preferred.

• Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and Pivot Tables.

• Experience in finance, financial services, accounting, trade finance, supply chain finance, payments, or FinTech.

• Familiarity with SAP or another ERP ecosystem.

• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system.

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Background in customer service or client relationship management.

• Experience working within a global team.
