Financial Operations Analyst – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily financial administration tasks, including managing records, organizing documents, monitoring the finance mailbox, and ensuring data integrity across finance systems.

• Handle the entire accounts receivable process, which encompasses customer invoicing, ensuring billing accuracy, following up on collections, applying cash, and reviewing AR aging.

• Manage the complete accounts payable process from vendor onboarding to invoice intake and coding, routing approvals, executing payment runs, and reconciling corporate cards and expenses.

• Assist in the design and implementation of AR and AP processes and systems, focusing on workflow documentation, automation, and supporting controls.

• Maintain the cash forecast by tracking actuals against projections, highlighting variances, and identifying future cash needs.

• Prepare financial and tax-related documentation, including tax forms and slips, supporting sales tax filings, responding to audit and lender requests, managing KYC, and vendor documentation.

• Manage payroll inputs and process employee expense reimbursements.

• Maintain documentation and reconciliation files required for month-end and year-end processes.

• Act as a point of contact for employees, customers, vendors, and external advisors regarding billing, payment, and documentation inquiries.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

• 3-5 years of experience in a controllership, senior accounting, finance operations, or a comparable position.

• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.

• Comprehensive knowledge of full-cycle accounting and financial closing processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is preferred.

• Familiarity with SaaS business accounting, particularly regarding revenue recognition and deferred revenue, is preferred.

• Experience in a large, established organization with solid accounting and internal control frameworks and/or public accounting external audit experience is preferred.
