Financial Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Extract, transform, and analyze data from various systems and databases.

• Design, create, and sustain Power BI dashboards and data visualizations utilizing Excel, Python, SQL, or other analytical tools.

• Reconcile data across financial and operational systems while pinpointing data integrity issues.

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, company leadership, and other business leaders to define data requirements and create reporting dashboards.

• Discover opportunities to automate manual financial reporting and analytical tasks.

• Establish data-quality checks and controls to enhance accuracy and consistency.

• Partner with IT and data teams to refine data structures, reporting processes, and system integrations.

• Assist in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and business decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in a services organization.

• A background in finance (FP&A).

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and financial modeling.

• Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms is highly preferred.

• Experience handling large, complex datasets from multiple sources.

• Familiarity with automating recurring reports and analytical processes.

• Knowledge of APIs and data integrations from ERP systems, CRM systems, and other enterprise data systems is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail, timelines, organization, and problem-solving skills.
