Financial Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily reconciliation of bank accounts and financial investments utilizing the TOTVS RM system.

• Perform daily financial and accounting reconciliations, ensuring the integrity and consistency of data across the Finance and Accounting modules.

• Consolidate management of a single daily cash position using TOTVS RM.

• Oversee the daily cash position, accurately documenting all financial transactions of the organization.

• Guarantee that the daily cash flow is completely reconciled with financial and accounting records, eliminating any discrepancies.

• Automate and sustain reconciliation processes among Treasury, Accounting, and Finance to enhance efficiency and minimize errors and rework.

• Ensure that monthly financial reconciliations are finalized by the second business day of the following month, with all transactions reviewed and approved.

• Monitor, record, and manage bank fees and costs on a daily basis, identifying variances and opportunities for optimization.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and entries in TOTVS RM.

• Track outstanding reconciliation items daily, following up with responsible parties and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Verify fees, returns, interest, and transactions associated with financial investments.

• Assist the Accounts Payable team with long-outstanding items when required.

• Present a monthly report on fees incurred and suggest enhancements to fee management.

• Collaborate with the Accounting, Treasury, and Accounts Payable teams to review processes and enhance reconciliation routines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Accounting, Business Administration, Management Processes, or a related field.

• Understanding of bank reconciliation and cash flow processes.

• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, concatenation, SUMIFS).

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and chart of accounts structures.

• Experience in extracting integrated financial reports.

• Experience in reconciling bank accounts for multiple companies/entities (tax identification numbers).

• Familiarity with OFX and CNAB banking files and bank integration.

• Interest in automating financial processes and employing AI tools.

• Knowledge of TOTVS RM (preferred).
