
Financial Analyst – Procurement Indirect Spend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Accounting, and business leaders to establish targets, monitor indirect spending, and assess savings, cost reductions, value creation, and enhancements in working capital.
• Examine expenditures across suppliers, categories, cost centers, business units, functions, projects, and geographic regions.
• Recognize risks, opportunities, trends, contract leakage, supplier dependency, and delays in savings realization.
• Confirm realized savings, cost avoidance, supplier rebates, productivity improvements, cash flow impacts, and other financial outcomes.
• Utilize spend-cube analytics, financial models, and business cases to prioritize opportunities effectively.
• Assist in supplier negotiations, contract modifications, renewals, demand management, and decisions regarding service levels.
• Direct analysis, forecasting, reporting, and scenario planning for DPO, supplier payment terms, working capital, cash flow, indirect spending, cost reduction, and the financial strategic plan.
• Create and sustain Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, supplier reporting, executive packages, variance analysis, and performance narratives.
• Share insights and recommendations with leaders, challenge assumptions, and sway cross-functional decisions.
• Discover opportunities to automate reporting, streamline processes, strengthen controls, and enhance business decision-making.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• Three to seven (3–7) years of experience in FP&A, indirect spend finance, procurement finance, consulting, operations finance, cost improvement, or a related field.
• Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, analytical skills, and structured problem-solving.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and financial analysis tools.
• Capable of working with large and complex datasets while ensuring accuracy and relevance to business needs.
• Exceptional ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships and influence decisions across various functional areas.
• Highly self-motivated with a sense of ownership over deliverables, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Willingness to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
