Financial Analyst, Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Carry out and oversee Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring that financial records and controls are accurately maintained and organized.

• Assist in the generation and evaluation of invoices and debit notes in line with requests and internal billing protocols.

• Track customer payment due dates and receipts, documenting payments and highlighting any outstanding items or discrepancies.

• Reconcile receipts across bank accounts, the financial system, and internal records, identifying variances for resolution.

• Aid collection efforts by sending reminders, monitoring overdue receivables, and reaching out to customers as necessary.

• Maintain master data, spreadsheets, reports, and billing and collections information with a strong focus on data integrity.

• Organize receipts and supporting documents for financial transactions and assist with the month-end close process.

• Collaborate with internal teams, Accounting, and customers to clarify information related to billing and payments.

• Contribute to the enhancement and automation of Accounts Receivable controls and processes.

• Excellent organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong dedication to meeting deadlines.

• Proactive in identifying outstanding items and discrepancies while developing effective solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with customers and internal teams.

• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for financial tracking and reconciliation tasks.

• Basic understanding of financial processes, especially in billing, Accounts Receivable, collections, or reconciliation.

• Comfortable navigating systems and adapting to new tools and processes.

• Experience with financial management systems or ERP platforms, particularly Omie, is a plus.

• Familiarity with invoicing, tax withholdings, or billing procedures is advantageous.

• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, or a related field is a plus.
