Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Foster strong relationships and deliver outstanding customer service to the respective business unit(s)

• Execute month-end and quarter-end closing procedures

• Analyze results, prepare journal entries and comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, and provide reports for senior management

• Monitor and analyze deferred maintenance, hardware, software, and revenue sources

• Prepare information requests and address inquiries during quarterly reviews and the annual audit

• Undertake special projects and produce ad hoc reports as necessary

• Analyze financial data, generate reports, and offer insights to facilitate decision-making and financial planning

• Assist with transactions related to the complete order-to-cash cycle, accounts receivable and collection processes, while ensuring accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15 Accounts Receivable and Revenue

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Background in financial analysis, accounting roles, or related experience

• Completed or currently pursuing a professional accounting designation (CPA)

• Strong skills in financial modeling

• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
