Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Manage federal payroll or Special Payroll Processing System (SPPS) Web cases.

• Assist in payroll processing for USDA National Finance Center settings.

• Address back pay, FEHB/FEGLI, OWCP, RCC, TSP, and salary modifications.

• Record cases and detect discrepancies.

• Execute quality control and reprocessing functions.

• Aid in workloads that align with the NFC environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen with Clearance Eligibility.

• Proven experience in federal payroll or Special Payroll Processing System (SPPS) Web case management.

• Familiarity with payroll processing at the USDA National Finance Center.

• Understanding of back pay, FEHB/FEGLI, OWCP, RCC, TSP, and salary modifications.

• Preferred experience supporting USDA, DHS, or other federal shared services environments.

• Relevant experience in federal payroll and SPPS Web operations.

• Experience with workload levels compatible with NFC’s environment.

• Background in case documentation, discrepancy identification, quality control, and reprocessing functions.

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Accounting and/or Finance.

• Knowledge of NFC Special Payroll Processing System is preferred.

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree, ideally in Finance.
