Financial Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support, analysis, and define solutions for the SETF Spark system project.

• Establish partnerships and collaborate with other departments during system development and implementation.

• Align and optimize financial processes according to established deliverables and timelines.

• Acquire knowledge of the automotive finance sector and associated systems.

• Identify effective solutions that extend beyond current practices.

• Comprehend the financial dimensions of system applications, workflows, capabilities, parameters, and regulations.

• Spot opportunities for automating financial processes.

• Assist in defining direction and strategy for system upgrades and replacements.

• Create requirements and design stories within the project's framework.

• Ensure that the interests and concerns of the accounting group are addressed.

• Harmonize financial processes across various systems for the new setup.

• Conduct systems integration, functional segment, smoke, SIT, and UAT testing prior to implementation and go-live.

• Collaborate with the configuration team to ensure business requirements are comprehended and fulfilled.

• Update stakeholders on project progress and involve them in reviews and design decisions.

• Serve as the liaison between technology teams, support teams, vendors, and departments.

• Promote and implement project standards.

• Balance competing priorities based on business requirements.

• Remain informed about data, reporting, and systems utilized by Accounting and Finance to represent business users effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Full Alfa Implementation experience is a MUST.

• Experience focused on accounting.

• Familiarity with payments, incoming payments, payoffs, and downstream reconciliation.

• Strong accounting experience.

• Knowledge of the automotive finance industry; Alfa expertise is preferred.

• Proficient in VLOOKUPs and SUMIFs.

• Experience with project management tools; familiarity with Azure DevOps involving features and epics.

• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

• 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.

• Proven high proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Relevant project experience is required.

• Experience with Alfa Systems / Alfa Financial Software is necessary.

• Strong problem-solving abilities: capable of defining issues, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

• Solid accounting background, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and internal controls.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with strong follow-up abilities.

• Presentation skills with the capability to lead and manage stakeholder meetings and working sessions.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
