Finance Transformation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, designing solutions, transforming operating models, and automating functions within Finance.

• Collaborate with Finance leaders and cross-departmental stakeholders to evaluate business needs, establish requirements, and create solutions.

• Recognize opportunities to utilize emerging technologies and innovative methods to enhance Finance capabilities and performance.

• Aid in the development of target-state capabilities, operating models, and strategic roadmaps for Finance.

• Examine operational, financial, and strategic factors for investment alternatives and business decisions.

• Propel the execution of sanctioned initiatives by managing project planning, coordinating stakeholders, resolving issues, tracking progress, and reporting to executives.

• Promote collaboration and the sharing of best practices across Finance and partner organizations.

• Direct cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Technology, Data & Analytics, Governance, and business teams.

• Contribute to the management of the Finance portfolio, including prioritization, sequencing of initiatives, dependency management, project reporting, budget oversight, and value assessment.

• Create presentations, recommendations, and executive communications that convey objectives, progress, outcomes, and realized value.

• Assist in organizational change management through effective communication, training, and capacity building.

• Establish and track KPIs and value metrics to evaluate the success of initiatives and their impact on the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of six (6) years’ experience in strategy, transformation, process improvement, solution design, project management, consulting, portfolio management, or a related area.

• At least two (2) years’ experience leading complex projects or strategic initiatives.

• Capability to evaluate business challenges, devise practical solutions, and drive execution across various stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Proven experience in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels.

• Access to a dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.

• Self-supplied internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.

• An advanced degree (MBA or related discipline) is preferred.

• Experience in supporting portfolio governance, prioritization, project reporting, budget management, or value realization activities is preferred.

• Familiarity with process design methodologies, automation technologies, analytics, and emerging technological capabilities is preferred.

• Background in healthcare, insurance, or other complex and highly regulated industries is preferred.

• Experience collaborating across Finance, Technology, Data & Analytics, or Enterprise Transformation organizations is preferred.
