Finance Operations Specialist – Parental Leave Cover, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire customer billing process, which includes maintaining billing-related data, coordinating project milestones, and preparing and dispatching invoices.

• Proactively enhance and refine finance processes and systems.

• Perform independent ad hoc analyses and communicate the findings in a clear, audience-appropriate manner.

• Assist the Finance team with accounting tasks, reporting, and activities related to month-end and year-end closings.

• Develop and sustain process documentation and internal guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a degree in finance or accounting.

• Strong understanding of commercial processes.

• Initial practical experience in finance, preferably within a dynamic business setting.

• Basic experience with HubSpot is advantageous.

• Good grasp of working with CRM systems.

• Advanced Excel capabilities, including the ability to conduct meaningful analyses and confidently utilize formulas and functions.

• A hands-on approach and an independent working style.

• Strong analytical abilities and a data-driven mindset.

• Ideally, fluent communication skills in both German and English.

• Willingness to thrive in a scale-up environment and contribute your own ideas.
