Finance Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the monthly closing calendar and ensure transparency regarding outstanding items and deadlines.

• Keep a tracker for deadlines, responsible parties, and dependencies among accounting, FP&A, orders, and RevOps.

• Facilitate regular finance meetings, document decisions, and ensure action items are completed.

• Analyze information flows between finance teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

• Create consistent hand-off processes for changes involving new vendors, entities, and team transitions.

• Transform ad-hoc requests into regular reports and dashboards.

• Replace manual finance processes with AI tools and automated workflows.

• Develop playbooks and provide training for finance team members.

• Track saved hours, reductions in close cycles, and errors prevented.

• Oversee cross-functional finance projects, audit inquiries, and year-end activities.

• Prepare comprehensive support materials for auditors and the executive team.

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budget and planning milestones.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in finance operations, FP&A, revenue accounting, accounting operations, business operations, or a comparable role.

• Familiarity with the closing process, month-end reporting, and the order-to-cash cycle, even if you have not managed them directly.

• Experience with AI tools (preferably Claude) and an eagerness to explore new technologies.

• Proven ability to manage a project with multiple stakeholders, track progress, and ensure completion.

• Strong written communication skills, consistent follow-up, and the ability to collaborate with individuals you do not supervise.

• Manual Dexterity: Capable of repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers for computer usage.

• Stationary Tasks: Ability to sit for prolonged periods while maintaining a fixed position.
