This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations for IEEFA Australia.
• Assess invoices and transactions in Dext to ensure precise account, program, and grant coding.
• Keep track of bank balances, payment activities, and necessary financial documentation.
• Collaborate with the US Finance team on financial coding and reporting across different entities.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for Accounting for Good.
• Administer Australian payroll and handle payment processing.
• Evaluate monthly bank reconciliations and management reports.
• Keep accurate payroll records and monitor employee leave balances in Xero.
• Track, code, and reconcile payroll-related expenses.
• Assist in the establishment and ongoing financial management of EOR arrangements for international employees.
• Manage expenses related to EOR, including invoice reviews, coding, payments, and reconciliations.
• Support the CEO and Operations Manager with budgets for programs, grants, and special projects.
• Monitor actual expenditures against budgets and notify significant variances.
• Aid in grant financial reporting, including the preparation and review of financial data and expenditure reports.
• Oversee procurement activities and maintain vendor relationships.
• Review vendor contracts and liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.
• Ensure procurement and vendor documentation adheres to IEEFA policies and approval protocols.
• Serve as the primary contact for IEEFA Australia’s annual audit.
• Coordinate audit preparations and information requests.
• Maintain financial controls, policies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager on ACNC and DGR status requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting operations.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with grant-funded organizations and grant financial reporting processes.
• Proven proficiency with Xero.
• Experience managing payroll as well as accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Background in working with or managing external financial and employment service providers.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, time zones, and cultures.
• A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to work within a diverse global workforce.
• Highly organized; capable of ensuring accuracy in work products, prioritizing tasks, and meeting objectives and deadlines with minimal supervision while working remotely.

• Global and/or multi-entity finance experience.
• Experience managing Employer of Record (EOR) arrangements and associated financial operations across multiple countries.
