This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, which includes the preparation of the annual budget and the maintenance of ongoing forecasts.
• Manage the entire invoicing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to contractual obligations.
• Analyze run rates, project costs, and margin performance metrics.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and address ad hoc analysis requests.
• Lead a company-wide finance transformation project that consolidates various systems into a unified financial platform.
• Design and implement financial systems, controls, and standard operating procedures.
• Develop scalable financial structures and reporting frameworks.
• Identify and promote process enhancements across financial operations.
• Manage the financial relationships for a specific entity or group of clients, encompassing billing, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams on client engagements.
• Support project-based and on-site engagements that require financial oversight, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with other business units and assist in cross-selling initiatives.
• Act as a key financial partner to senior leadership.
• Engage in leadership and planning discussions, offering financial analysis and recommendations.
• Support finance initiatives as the company expands its operations and footprint.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• More than 5 years of progressive experience in a finance management position.
• Experience, preferably within real estate services, construction, facilities management, or similar project-based industries.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing at a company or business-unit level.
• Experience in designing or enhancing financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Ability to operate comfortably in a growth-stage, evolving environment with limited existing infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
• Preferred: Experience in leading or supporting financial system implementations or migrations.
• Preferred: CPA, CMA, or a related certification.
• Preferred: Familiarity with construction, commissioning, or facilities management operations.
• Preferred: Experience supporting global or multi-entity finance operations.
