This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide assistance and oversee resources across various regions.
• Aid operational leadership in making financial decisions.
• Formulate financial strategies and evaluate revenue, expenses, investments, and risks.
• Conduct analytical reviews to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Suggest enhancements to promote cost efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Operations to create budgets and forecasts.
• Generate forecasts using historical data.
• Report actual results and assess performance against the plan.
• Support cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial planning.
• Prepare internal financial reports and recommendations for upper management.
• Issue periodic reports covering accounts payable, freight, and consumable metrics.
• Assist in establishing financial goals and developing roadmaps.
• Engage in special projects, process enhancement, and the development and implementation of financial tools.
• Oversee financial process improvements, KPIs, and tracking of strategic initiatives.
• Support both internal and external financial and system audits.
• Organize and manage workload to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
• Ensure prompt invoice payment and verify charges and expenses for billing.
• Manage Accounts Payable, vendor invoice tracking, purchasing, and revenue accruals.
• Execute month-end closing activities, journal entries, corporate submissions, expense management, budgetary support, and ad hoc analysis.
• Complete the monthly Client Profitability Model.
• Attend meetings and prepare as well as distribute meeting minutes.
• Create and share communications and reports.
• Assist with presentation preparations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize operational assets and investments.
• Produce cost estimates, strategic business cases, risk assessments, and ad hoc analyses.
• Meet with vendors to maintain competitive pricing.
• Oversee the performance of Accounting Assistants, Financial Analysts, and other assigned financial personnel.
• Ensure the training and development of team members.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandated, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or finance is required.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising direct reports.
• Proficiency in analyzing revenue, expenses, investments, risks, trends, costs, and financial performance.
• Experience in financial reporting and control, income management, debt management, invoicing, billing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Capability to manage and develop assigned resources.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional, mature, discreet, and secure manner.
• Effective communication skills with employees, customers, suppliers, and others.
