This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a detailed fundraising strategy for campaigns in California, with an emphasis on major donors, PACs, and events.

• Establish and monitor monthly, quarterly, and cycle-to-date fundraising objectives and KPIs.

• Coordinate and oversee call time for state and national leaders, including managing call lists, call sheets, briefings, pledge tracking, and follow-ups.

• Conduct research on current and potential donors, organizations, and PACs.

• Ensure accurate CRM data management, maintaining clean records and donor segmentation in EveryAction.

• Organize and manage fundraising events, including salons, briefings, receptions, and statewide gatherings.

• Foster and maintain donor relationships through tailored engagement strategies, cultivation plans, and campaign updates.

• Collaborate with donor networks, organizers, and bundlers to increase support and leverage the WFP donor community.

• Direct fundraising strategy and execution for the donor community in California.

• Establish the infrastructure needed to achieve ambitious fundraising targets.

• Oversee major donor cultivation, event planning, donor research, fundraising initiatives, data tracking, and travel logistics.

• Partner with senior staff and state and national leaders to enhance call time and fundraising initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in political fundraising.

• Strong preference for experience in at least one federal or statewide campaign.

• Proven track record of managing a major donor program and achieving ambitious fundraising objectives.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Proficient in briefing and coaching staff for call time and events.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.

• Proven project management experience and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

• Skill in managing systems and prioritizing competing demands.

• Ability to identify and rectify errors effectively.

• Dedication to building a party that seeks governing power by, for, and with working-class individuals of all races.

• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

• Employer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.
