Finance Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and conduct quality assurance on financial data outputs from Preset and Databricks in comparison to source systems; identify and report discrepancies proactively.

• Manage the financial infrastructure within G Suite, encompassing Sheets, Drive, model architecture, and version control.

• Create and sustain recurring reports detailing revenue by channel and order type, delivery margin, and order-level economics.

• Ensure uniformity in financial and operational KPI calculations across various reporting systems.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive COGS tracking, including courier fees, payment processing, and infrastructure allocation.

• Monitor budgetary performance versus actuals across departments and emphasize significant variances.

• Support monthly forecasting, scenario analysis, and business performance assessments.

• Prepare reconciled data and variance analyses for management reporting purposes.

• Keep actuals data updated to facilitate rolling forecast revisions and management reporting.

• Integrate Sauce's financial data stack to enhance the speed and automation of decision-making processes.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of financial data to support leadership in decision-making.

• Recognize and apply AI and automation solutions to minimize manual reporting, enhance data quality, and expedite decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Business Analytics, or Finance Analyst roles within a technology firm.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; adept at investigating discrepancies across various systems and pinpointing root causes.

• Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Excel, including financial modeling, multi-sheet models, and dynamic formulas.

• SQL proficiency is a must.

• Experience with Databricks or a comparable data warehouse is preferred.

• Practical experience with a BI tool such as Preset, Tableau, Looker, or a similar platform.

• Solid understanding of SaaS, marketplace, fintech, or high-volume transaction-based business models and unit economics, including revenue, COGS, CAC, LTV, and margins.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on unreconciled figures.

• Familiarity with Databricks, Preset, SaasGrid, QuickBooks, Stripe, Google Workspace, and AI/LLM technologies.

• Nice to have: knowledge of Python and GitHub.

• Nice to have: experience with data pipelines, data models, or analytics infrastructure.

• Nice to have: previous experience in marketplace, SaaS, fintech, or high-transaction-volume technology settings.
