Finance Consultant – Accounting, Reporting & Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide financial advisory services to clients, focusing on controlling, accounting, and group management, with an emphasis on the implementation, enhancement, and automation of financial reporting.

• Conduct thorough analyses of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, clearly explaining the interconnections between profit and loss and cash flow.

• Assist clients from diverse sectors in utilizing the Financial Management Suite effectively.

• Methodically pinpoint sources of errors, analyze data flows, and align them with a solid understanding of accounting principles.

• Independently create innovative solutions within the realm of financial reporting.

• Develop dashboards and leverage Excel or Power BI to present intricate financial relationships in an easily understandable manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of professional experience in finance, preferably in controlling, accounting, or group consolidation.

• Strong understanding of business and financial relationships.

• Proven experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Familiarity with essential KPIs such as EBIT, working capital, and free cash flow.

• Proficient in Power BI or possess a keen interest in reporting tools.

• Capable of visualizing complex financial relationships through dashboards and reports.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a robust customer-centric approach.

• Passion for working with numbers, data, and financial models.

• Confident, authentic, and effective in communication.
