This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage relationships with both Operating and Non-Operating leadership while serving as a reliable business advisor.
• Conduct financial analyses and create models to support members of the senior leadership team.
• Oversee special projects, which include developing models in Adaptive Planning and designing as well as creating Domo dashboards.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the global financial data governance framework for the designated portfolio.
• Suggest improvements to the financial data model through collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging business insights.
• Track and improve the KPI reporting strategy.
• Lead and integrate the Annual Operating Plan process, which encompasses analysis, templates, reports, and executive presentations.
• Propose performance targets and ensure that plans align with agreed-upon objectives.
• Collaborate with recruiting, compensation, real estate, and procurement processes to ensure spending and investments align with approved budgets.
• Assist Corporate Accounting with analyses, including reviews of cost rates.
• Direct business initiatives that promote simplification, FP&A metric adherence, business growth, and increased productivity.
• Implement process enhancements utilizing financial best practices.
• Equip business leaders with information, data, analysis, and insights for informed decision-making.
• Partner with senior business leaders on financial and capital budgeting, forecasting, and high-impact analysis.
• Aid Senior Executive Management in tracking long-term strategic objectives.
• Develop and present management reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with peer teams and reporting/BI departments to ensure consistency in reporting.
• Communicate discrepancies between planned and actual results, along with projected impacts, to senior management.
• Assist in training senior field leadership through financial models, demonstrations, and training resources.
• Engage in approved and ad-hoc financial projects.
• Respond to requests for information utilized in both internal and external reporting.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is mandatory.
• Fundamental knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting standards/guidelines, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Corporate FP&A Function.
• Experience in a public company or Fortune 500 setting is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel.
• Outstanding planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication capabilities.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and metrics, and the ability to translate them into operational objectives.
• Competence in managing processes and tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt in an environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and synthesize various forms of information for timely and effective business impact.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the capability to present to Senior Executive Leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse cross-functional teams.
• Completion of a background check is a prerequisite for employment.
